Marie is a fully qualified Usui Reiki Master This allows her to Teach the public and attune them to Reiki 1.2.3..Classes are Held on a weekend Saturday or Sunday, If you can not make these Marie will try to work around you with a day in the week for you...
HOW DO I CHOOSE A PRACTITIONER?
We suggest you have a chat with the practitioner before you book a session either on the phone or arrange to meet him/her so that you can get a personal impression of him/her. Ask her/him about her/his own journey with Reiki. How long has s/he been doing Reiki? Why was s/he drawn to do Reiki? Who did s/he learn with? You could also talk to others who have had a Reiki session with the practitioner, but ultimately trust your own heart. If you feel happy with the practitioner after speaking on the phone, book a session and then see how you feel at the end of it. If you're not sure then it may be worth trying someone else. Reiki practitioners should do their best to make the Reiki treatment a comfortable experience. Trust your intuition and if you do not feel comfortable with the practitioner, don't be afraid to look further.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TREATMENT?
The practitioner will usually give a short explanation of what the treatment involves and ask for some details about you, which may include a short medical history. If no explanation is given don't be afraid to ask what is involved. You will be asked to lie (or sit if this is easier for you) as comfortably as possible. You will not be asked to remove any clothing except for anything which may restrict your breathing or comfort, such as out-door clothing, shoes, spectacles or contact lenses. This is so that you can feel comfortable and relaxed during the treatment. Reiki will go through clothing, blankets or even a plaster cast if necessary!
Treatment is given by the practitioner placing her/his hands gently on your body in a pre-determined sequence of hand positions, which are non-intrusive and cover both the front and back of the body. The hand positions are sometimes varied to give Reiki to areas where it is needed that are not covered by the usual hand positions. If you find any of the hand positions uncomfortable don't be afraid to tell the practitioner so.
The practitioner's touch should be gentle, light and comfortable, although sometimes people experience intense heat from the practitioner's hands. There is no massage or manipulation. You may feel sensations under the practitioners' hands or in other parts of your body. You may feel heat, tingling, coolness, throbbing or other sensations. You may feel very little, although many people experience a sense of well being and relaxation - some even fall asleep! Sometimes a treatment can be energising: there is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki.
The practitioner will spend several minutes holding each position, the whole treatment lasting at 45 mins to 1 hour.
WILL THE PRACTITIONER DIAGNOSE WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
Reiki practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not offer any diagnosis, prognosis or advice. If you are concerned about symptoms you should see your doctor.
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Most people feel very relaxed and at peace after Reiki treatments, although Reiki can also stir up emotions as part of the healing process. You may feel tired, but sometimes full of energy. Some people also experience a healing reaction, such as headaches, cold or flu-like symptoms. These symptoms are normally of short duration. If you are concerned about a reaction to a treatment talk to your practitioner, who should be able to reassure you.If you have a lot of emotions that have been buried this will also come to the surface, But this is good as it will realise what you have been hanging on to for may be years and years....
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
This varies from person to person. In general most problems will take time to heal - healing with Reiki is a process rather than an event. In general acute problems heal faster than chronic ones. If your problem is of long standing it may require treatments over a longer period of time. As a Reiki practitioner i would suggest that you have a number of treatments close together or 4 treatments on 4 consecutive days. However, while a Reiki practitioner may suggest how treatments should be spaced and encourage you to continue, you should feel free to make the decision about what treatment you wish to receive. You are ultimately responsible for your health and well being.

Usui Shiki Ryoho First Degree Reiki £ 80.00
Reiki first degree is focused on teaching a student everything they have to know about the art of Reiki. Here, you will be taught what Reiki really means and what it can do for you. It is the time where masters will give their students an in-depth description about the Reiki. This includes where it came from, how to give it, and the proper way of using it. After all the concepts are taught as well as the mental, emotional, and physical natures of the student are thoroughly prepared, hands-on practice will take place.You will also learn the 7 main crystals to use as well.....
Upon completion of the first degree a student will know how to use the Reiki energy for self-healing You will then have to do this for 21 days this is called the clear out time. This same energy can also be channeled to help other people, more specifically their friends and family. First degree Reiki can also stimulate personal and spiritual growth in a person and will open the crown chakra more as you go along.
This level is for people who simply want to discover It is also for those who would like to learn how to heal themselves and others. After this level, you will be able to elevate your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical state. It can effectively prevent illness in your family, as well as allowing you to heal.
Usui Shiki Ryoho Second Degree Reiki £ 90.00
Second degree Reiki leads you to the deeper understanding of the ancient method of Here, you won't just be able to heal diseases right on. You will be able to transcend time and space with your healing powers as well. You will also be introduced to the sacred at this level, which you can use to develop your awareness of self, healing others, and helping them with their lives as much as you improve yours you will also be taught how to send Distance healing to others.
During the second level of Reiki training, the flow of Reiki energy within you intensifies. You can further enhance your abilities through the use of the great Reiki symbols that in them selves are powerful. Distance healing or planetary healing becomes possible. As such, you can possibly heal another person even if they are ten thousand miles away from you. Furthermore, you will be able to improve your self-healing abilities as well as your spiritual and personal growth. You may be qualified to practice Reiki on others after the second degree of Reiki training.
Usui Shiki Ryoho Third Degree Reiki/Masters £200.00
The third degree of Reiki training is done over 6 months training you will become capable of teaching Reiki students on your own. But as your Reiki Master i will always be here for you... Any one teaching this in one day i would not touch as you will need to have a student for the whole of the 6 months keep records of treatments up dates every month with myself....YOU CAN NOT LEARN THIS IN 1 DAY.....X
Third degree Reiki is only for the people who wish to further develop themselves into a Reiki Master. Here, they will have access to all the Reiki Master symbols and are allowed to Attune on others. More complex healing cycles will be taught at this level, with the aim of expanding your Reiki influence.
The end goal of this last level of training is to make you a Reiki Master who can initiate, teach, and train others into the art of Reiki.
